Power Hours
Our Power Hours are regular one-hour professional development sessions that provide opportunities to connect and check in with TEFI members in between conferences.
Led by international thought leaders, each Power Hour supports professional development, co-creates regenerative solutions, and talk through ideas that are personally relevant and important to the communities in which we serve.
We rotate the timing of the Power Hours to support most time zones. Please join our mailing list to sign up for notifications of each Power Hour.
CONFERENCES
In 2014 TEFI moved from an annual to a two-year conference cycle. Our last major conference was in June 2020 hosted by York St John University and we will once again have a conference in 2022.

We invite tourism scholars and practitioners to co-engage in more intimate adventures and courageously transform and disrupt the world as we know it by supporting TEFI’s mission, values, and activities. Contact us if you are interested in organising a regional workshop or international conference event.

LEARNING
TEFI is invested in transforming tourism education to prepare students as responsible citizens and agents of change. As scholars we are naturally curious, and we know that learning is continuous. As such, we offer professional development opportunities supporting intergenerational learning and mentorship.
We invite faculty, graduate students, and industry partners to co-create solutions and support our network in being recognized as global leaders and change agents both within the classrooms and within our communities.
